Care advice
At Amarga, one thing we're very clear about is: REDUCE, REUSE, AND RECYCLE, BUT ALSO TAKE CARE OF YOUR PRODUCTS. Taking some time to care for your clothes will help them stay in good condition for a long time.
Our three tips to extend the life of your clothes:
1. Separate your laundry: Wash your clothes when necessary. When you do, separate items by color. Go further: close zippers and buttons and turn it over.
2. Read the washing instructions on your clothes: Reading the label will allow you to know the material the garment is made of and thus know the correct way to wash, iron, and even the recommended products for its care.
Some vintage garments don't have fabrication labels. If your garment doesn't have the label, we recommend washing it at 30°C, using cold water, using a normal spin cycle, and not using a dryer.
3. Don't hang clothes randomly! We recommend air-drying your clothes. When you do, try to hang them inside out to maintain their original colors for as long as possible.
